Shazia Asif Khan


is a Motivational Speaker, Corporate Trainer and Human Rights Activist. Shazia has over 15 years of professional experience in Educational Management, Leadership, Curriculum Development, Business English, English Language Teaching, & Volunteer Training. She started her own not for profit (NGO) ‘AAB-the need of life’ from scratch in 2008 and since then she has been successfully running educational projects for underprivileged youth, women and children in Karachi, Pakistan. She trains her own staff, school teachers and volunteers; motivating and inspiring them to work for the underprivileged with empathy and dedication. Her project school won the ‘International School Award’ from the British Council in 2015.

She has been a visiting faculty at many prestigious universities in Karachi. She is also a Training Consultant at the British Council Pakistan. She completed her Master’s degree in English Literature & Linguistics and completed her CELTA from RMIT University, Melbourne Australia. She has presented at several national & international conferences and delivered workshops for several Education & Business institutions. She is a visionary leader, a great motivator, and a compassionate person. Her charity work has been acknowledged in the print and electronic media of Pakistan

Fatima Jabeen


Fatima Jabeen specializes in content & project management and lives in Australia. She is an English trainer with 14 years of teaching experience. She has conducted training programs on People Management, Leadership, Human Rights Education, Life Skills, Communication skills. She was the General Secretary of AAB for 5 years before moving abroad. She has represented AAB – the need of life on print and electronic media of Pakistan.

Sandra Francis


Sandra Francis is an enthusiastic and dedicated, and English teacher and teacher trainer with over 17 years of experience. She holds a master’s degree in English Literature from University of Karachi. She has successfully designed curricula for all levels. She has been associated with AAB – the need of life, since its foundation and is consistent in her dedication, overseeing projects and actively assisting in projects carried out by the organisation. Continuing her journey with OMPACT, Sandra feels more inclined towards contributing for the betterment of education for the underprivileged.

Fariha Zubairi


Fariha is a Montessori Directress in Florida Family Childcare Home Association in the USA. She has delivered numerus workshops on childcare and wellbeing. She actively works for OMPACT in the USA.

Bushra Pasha


Bushra Pasha born and raised in the multicultural metropolis of Karachi . She did her Post Graduation in English Literature and Applied Linguistics both from University of Karachi. She has a vast teaching experience from teaching young to adult learners, she has traveled across Sindh. She has designed and taught a number of tailor-made courses and organised special focus seminars. Apart from language learning and teaching she also has a considerable experience working as a writer, trainer, and social.

Mehvesh Madda


Mehvesh resides in Melbourne, Australia and has completed her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. She is working as an Early Childhood Educator.

Jamshed Siddiqui


Jamshed is an Electrical Engineer. He studied at NED University, Karachi, and then did his Masters in Engineering Management from the University of Technology, Sydney- Australia. He started his career in 2004 in the Middle East, as a Project Engineer in Honeywell Building Solutions, he has come a long way since then and now is working as a Senior Project Manager for the same company in Melbourne, Australia.

Jahangir Ali Khan


Jahangir Ali Khan is an independent Practicing lawyer for over 20 years. He specializes in Criminal, Civil, Income Tax, Sales Tax, Intellectual Property, Labour and Specially Banking law Cases. He also deals with Registration & Proceedings of Trademark, Copy Rights, Patents and Designs. He has been associated with AAB for the past 5 year and oversees all legal matters of the organisation.

Umaima Tahir Wadood


Umaima Tahir Wadood is a journalist with over 6 years of experience in the field. She has covered news stories on social, women issues, and survivors of terrorism. She has also been the National Coordinator for AMAL – the Education Project, and participated in a number of professional training’s. She has traveled both inside Pakistan and abroad. She has worked at content development for national and international clients on diverse subjects. Deeply involved with Online Security for Working Journalists she had spoken on the subject at forums and delivered a training for Journalists in a media house. She has also been part of a consultative processes for Education Opportunities for Minorities in Pakistan and creating awareness on Sustainable Development Goals in education institutions in the country. An active member of the Lahore Students Union, where she supervises internships for the Pakistan and has a Masters in Defense and Strategic Studies from the University of Punjab.

M. Fahad Mansoor


M. Fahad Mansoor is a media science graduate. He has been associated with a media production house. For the last 7 years, he runs a successful digital marketing & web development company that have served hundreds of people. Being a volunteer, he has made impressive documentaries for our social causes, showcasing the lives of people in different sections of our society and the hardships they go through. These documentaries were hugely praised and were able to put an impact on others.creating awareness on Sustainable Development Goals in education institutions in the country. An active member of the Lahore Students Union, where she supervises internships for the Pakistan and has a Masters in Defense and Strategic Studies from the University of Punjab.
